Cambodia Commemorates the 21st National Culture Day

Phnom Penh, March 06, 2019 –The 21st National Culture Day was celebrated here this afternoon under the presidency of Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen and his spouse Samdech Kittiprittbandit Bun Rany Hun Sen.

The annual commemoration took place at Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Centre along with the closing ceremony of Youth Arts Festival and the get-together with local artistes.

On the occasion, Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed his continued support to all products made by Cambodian artistes in order to preserve the tradition, cultural heritage and masterpieces of our ancestors.

The Premier encouraged all stakeholders to develop more cultural products as one of the mechanisms of solidarity, national unity, harmony, and happiness of the people.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen also highlighted the important role of all artistes in providing entertainment and education to all.

At the same time, Samdech Techo Prime Minister announced to grant tax preferences to local film production companies for five more years, from 2019 to 2023.
