Vice President of Indonesia Pays Courtesy Call on Cambodian PM

 Phnom Penh, January 16, 2018 –Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, held talks with H.E. Muhammad Jusuf Kalla, Vice President of Indonesia and Honorary Founding Co-Chair of the newly-launched Asian Cultural Council (ACC), at Lotus Blanc Resort in Siem Reap province this morning.

According to H.E. Eang Sophalleth, Assistant to the Cambodian Premier, in the meeting, H.E. Muhammad Jusuf Kalla expressed his congratulations to Cambodia on the successful hosting of the 27th Annual Meeting of Asia-Pacific Parliamentary Forum (APPF-27) and the Official Launching of ACC, and thanked the Kingdom for the warm hospitality.

The Indonesian vice president also spoke highly of the bilateral relations and cooperation between the two nations.

For his part, Samdech Techo Prime Minister thanked Indonesia for attending the APPF-27 and ACC Official Launching Ceremony, as well as for assisting Cambodia in its peace-seeking process and for providing scholarships to Cambodian students.
