AKP Phnom Penh, November 30, 2018 -The Kingdom of Cambodia and the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal signed four cooperation documents in Katmandu, Nepal yesterday afternoon.
The signing ceremony was presided over by Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen and his Nepalese counterpart H.E. Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli, following their bilateral meeting.
The four cooperation deals are the agreement on visa exemption for diplomatic and official passport holders, agreement on air transport, memorandum of understanding on consultations between both countries’ Ministries of Foreign Affairs in the fields of politics and economy, and memorandum of understanding on cultural cooperation.
According to H.E. Kao Kim Hourn, Minister Attached to the Prime Minister, during the bilateral meeting, the two Premiers highly valued the relations between both nations and shared their countries’ experience in national reconstruction and development.
Cambodia and Nepal will mark the 55th anniversary of the establishment of their diplomatic ties next year.
