AKP Phnom Penh, October 17, 2018 —Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, were warmly welcomed upon his arrival this morning in Brussels, Belgium by many Cambodian people living and studying in Belgium, France, Germany, Switzerland, UK …, according to his official Facebook page.
In Brussels, Samdech Techo Hun Sen will attend the 12th Asia-Europe Meeting Summit (12th ASEM Summit), which will take place on Oct. 18-19.
The Premier departed here for Belgium yesterday, at around midnight.
According to a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the 12th ASEM Summit, which will be held under the key theme “Europe and Asia: Global Partners for Global Challenges”, aims to strengthen dialogue and cooperation between Asia and Europe as the two regions strive to build synergy to tackle a wide range of areas from boosting trade and investment, to connectivity, to sustainable development and climate change.
Addressing the Plenary Session under the sub-theme “Reinforcing the multilateral system: advancing the ASEM partnership on global issues”, the Cambodian Premier will deliver his key remarks on “2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, inclusive & Sustainable Economic Growth”.
