This document contains under Part I the status of implementation of the International Assistance request from Madagascar as requested by the Committee in Decision 36 COM 14, and under Part II a proposed revision of the Operational Guidelines which the open-ended working group on the Operational Guidelines may wish to take into account.
The present document contains also, in Annex, an analysis of Preparatory Assistance requests dedicated to the preparation of nomination files and approved during the period 2001-2010. This analysis was prepared by the Secretariat following the request made by a member of the World Heritage Committee.
