Outgoing Vietnamese Ambassador Bids Cambodian PM Farewell

Phnom Penh, July 03, 2021 — Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received here at the Peace Palace this morning a farewell visit from Vietnamese Ambassador H.E. Vu Quang Minh.

According to H.E. Eang Sophalleth, Assistant to the Cambodian Premier, the outgoing ambassador said during his mission of 3 years and 7 months, he noted the stronger relations between the two countries, especially in the areas of trade and investment.

He expressed his gratitude to Samdech Techo Prime Minister, other Cambodian leaders at all levels and the Cambodian people for their support for the success of his diplomatic mission in the Kingdom.

In reply, Samdech Techo Hun Sen spoke highly of H.E. Vu Quang Minh’s efforts in further strengthening and expanding the relations and cooperation between both neighbouring nations during his term.

Regarding the bilateral ties in this COVID-19 crisis, Samdech Techo Prime Minister recommended the two sides to continue cooperating in combating the pandemic through health safety rules without obstruction to trade activities and promoting bilateral economic, trade and investment cooperation, and to look for other areas that both countries can boost.
