Phnom Penh, February 04, 2020 –Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia is planning to visit the Cambodian students in Wuhan, China’s Hubei province tomorrow.
The Premier shared the information during the meeting with Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, Co-Founder of the Universal Peace Federation (UPF), in Seoul, the Republic of Korea this morning prior to the opening ceremony of the UPF World Summit 2020 on Peace, Security and Human Development, according to Samdech Techo Hun Sen’s official Facebook page.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen said he had already informed the Chinese side about his forthcoming visit which is aimed to show his warm attention to the students and encouraged them not to fear the new coronavirus.
He is now waiting for the authorisation from the Chinese side as Wuhan city has been in lockdown since Jan. 23, 2020.
For her part, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon expressed her appreciation to Samdech Techo Prime Minister and the high-level delegation of the Royal Government of Cambodia for attending the UPF’s World Summit 2020 in Seoul at the time of new coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan, China.
In the meeting, Samdech Techo Hun Sen and Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon also discussed a wide range of issues related to peace, security, human development, climate change, and other regional and global challenges.
