Phnom Penh, January 28, 2020 –Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received here at the Peace Palace this morning newly appointed Ambassador of Cuba H.E. Ms. Liurka Rodriguez Barrios.
According to H.E. Eang Sophalleth, Assistant of the Cambodian Premier, both sides spoke highly of the historical and close relations between the two countries, which turn 60 this year.
H.E. Ms. Liurka Rodriguez Barrios pledged to do her best to further promote the bilateral cooperation, mainly in the fields of health, education, economy, trade and so on.
In reply, Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed warm welcome to H.E. Ms. Liurka Rodriguez Barrios’ diplomatic mission in Cambodia and encouraged the new ambassador to strengthen the existing cooperation and look into other areas of cooperation.
