Phnom Penh, December 02, 2019 –Australia is ready to continue assisting and contributing to further boost Cambodia’s economy as well as promoting the cooperation between youths of the two countries.
The affirmation was made by outgoing Ambassador of Australia to Cambodia H.E. Ms. Angela Corcoran while paying a farewell visit to Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen at the Peace Palace, Phnom Penh this morning.
H.E. Ms. Angela Corcoran spoke highly of the fast development of Cambodia and expressed her delight that Australia has so far contributed to the progress of Cambodia.
Besides, she wished Samdech Techo Hun Sen’s mother in-law to recover soon and thanked the Royal Government of Cambodia for conferring a decoration upon her.
For his part, Samdech Techo Hun Sen thanked the Australian side for its assistance and support to Cambodia, and the outgoing Australian diplomat for her wish for his mother-in-law and highly appreciated her diplomatic mission in Cambodia which has strengthened the cooperation between both nations, particularly the relations between youths.
