Phnom Penh, May 24, 2019 –Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen received here this morning at the Peace Palace visiting Deputy Head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, H.E. Wang Yajun.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting, H.E. Eang Sophalleth, Assistant to the Cambodian Premier, said H.E. Wang Yajun spoke highly of the progress of Cambodia, particularly Phnom Penh, and reiterated Cambodia-China solid friendship.
H.E. Wang Yajun reaffirmed China’s commitment to continue assisting Cambodia by encouraging more investors to the Kingdom and buy more Cambodian products.
The Chinese senior official informed Samdech Techo Hun Sen that he will also visit Preah Sihanouk province to study the infrastructure for investment and industry in the coastal province.
For his part, Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed his appreciation for all the existing cooperation between the two nations and thanked China for assisting Cambodia and for opening more markets for Cambodian products.
