Phnom Penh, January 15, 2019 –Visiting President of the National Assembly (NA) of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam H.E. Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan has lauded the rapid development of Cambodia compared to her previous visit to the Kingdom two years ago.
he Vietnamese NA president made the remarks during a courtesy meeting with Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen in Siem Reap provincial city this morning, on the sidelines of the 27th Annual Meeting of the Asia-Pacific Parliamentary Forum (APPF-27) being hosted by Cambodia, according to H.E. Eang Sophalleth, Assistant to the Cambodian Premier.
H.E. Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan expressed her conviction that under the leadership of Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Cambodia will see more and more progress.
For his part, Samdech Techo Prime Minister thanked the Vietnamese NA president for her positive remarks, stressing that Cambodia’s current development is inseparable from the contribution of Vietnam.
