Phnom Penh, January 12, 2019 –Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen has urged all media institutions to report true information in a fast manner and in different languages.
The Premier made the request while holding the 3rd annual get-together with nearly 5,000 journalists from different media institutions throughout the country, at Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Centre, Phnom Penh yesterday evening.
Beside the encouragement for more media training in order to improve the quality of media publications, Samdech Techo Hun Sen recommended the media, both public and private, to play a role as a mirror reflecting the society by disseminating only true information.
Participation in the national development through constructive criticism, analysis of events, including foreign ones, enhanced professionalism, fight against fake news, and so on was also encouraged on the occasion.
Samdech Techo Prime Minister always supports and promotes the field of media, an indispensable partner on the Royal Government in developing the country.
