AKP Phnom Penh, September 29, 2018 —Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, will pay a working visit to the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal in late November and early December.
The upcoming visit was made known during the bilateral talks between the Cambodian Premier and his Nepalese counterpart H.E. Khadga Prasad Shama Oli in New York on Sept. 28, on the sidelines of the 73rd Session of the UN General Assembly.
According to Samdech Techo Hun Sen, he is scheduled to attend a meeting of centrist political parties and visit Buddhist pilgrimage sites in Nepal.
Some agreements and memorandums of understanding, including those on visa exemption for official and diplomatic passport holders, investment protection, political consultations between the two Foreign Ministries, and promotion of economic, political and cultural relations between both nations, are expected to be signed during the visit.
H.E. Khadga Prasad Shama Oli congratulated the Cambodian People’s Party for its landslide victory in the recent National Election, while Samdech Techo Hun Sen thanked Nepal for dispatching observers for the election and for concluding that the election was conducted in a free, fair, just, democratic manner with acceptable results.
