Cambodian PM Receives Communist Party Secretary of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region

AKP Phnom Penh, September 11, 2018 —Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, held talks with Mr. Lu Xinshe, Communist Party Secretary of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, before a dinner reception hosted by China in Nanning city yesterday.

According the Cambodian Premier’s official Facebook page, Mr. Lu Xinshe thanked Samdech Techo Hun Sen for leading his delegation to attend the 15th China-ASEAN Expo in Nanning and informed him that the expo attracted this year more than 7,000 companies to display their products and services on over 6,600 booths.

On behalf of the people of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Mr. Lu Xinshe offered Jasmine milled rice worth US$1 million to Samdech Techo Hun Sen.

Samdech Techo Prime Minister thanked Mr. Lu Xinshe and the people of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region for the donation, adding that the rice will be given to the Cambodian Red Cross for its humanitarian activities, mainly for flood-affected victims.

A high-level Cambodian delegation led by Samdech Techo Hun Sen arrived in Nanning on Sept. 10 to attend the opening ceremony of the 15th China-ASEAN Expo, at the invitation of the Government of the People’s Republic of China.
