AKP Phnom Penh, March 05, 2018 –Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen inaugurated here this morning different Buddhist achievements worth in total nearly US$920,000 in Chhouk Va pagoda located in Angdong village, Sangkat Kok Roka, Khan Prek Pnov, Phnom Penh.
On the occasion, Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed his appreciation to the inaugurated achievements, saying that they will contribute to serving Buddhism.
At the same time, the Premier announced to provide a new school building of three floors and 30 rooms to Chea Sim Chhouk Va Lower Secondary School.
Cambodia is a Buddhism-practicing country with 95 percent of the population are Buddhists, and the constitution also stipulates that Buddhism is the state religion.
Chhouk Va is one the more than 4,500 pagodas across Cambodia.
