AKP Phnom Penh, January 08, 2018 – Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen has called for the establishment of direct flight between Cambodia and Turkey to further foster their relations.
The premier made the appeal while receiving here this morning at the Peace Palace outgoing Ambassador of Turkey H.E. Ilhan Kemal Tug, according to H.E. Kao Kim Hourn, Minister Attached to the Prime Minister.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed his appreciation for both countries’ diplomatic ties and cooperation, adding that he wanted to see more progress in the economic, trade and investment cooperation.
For his part, H.E. Ilhan Kemal Tug noted the development of Cambodia during the four years of his diplomatic mission and spoke highly of the relationship between Cambodia and Turkey.
But, the outgoing felt regretful that the direct flight between the two countries cannot be made possible during his term and suggested Samdech Techo Prime Minister to raise the issue during his possible visit to Turkey.
