AKP, November 23, 2017 – Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen has expressed warm welcome to the Swiss investments in Cambodia.
While receiving a visiting Swiss business delegation led by Mr. Andreas Gerber, Managing Director of Credit Suisse, here at the Peace Palace this morning, Samdech Techo Hun Sen welcomed Credit Suisse to continue its investment in Cambodia and other Swiss companies that are interested in investing in the Kingdom, H.E. Kao Kim Hourn, Delegate Minister Attached to the Prime Minister, told reporters following the meeting.
Mr. Andreas Gerber informed the Cambodian premier of his delegation’s visit, the purpose of which, he said, is to explore the real economic and investment situation in Cambodia.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen briefed the delegation on the country’s political and economic situation as well as development in the past few years. Besides, he highlighted four prioritised areas in Cambodia including human resource development, water, road, and electricity.
Samdech Techo Prime Minister recommended some key areas for the Swiss companies to invest in such as banking and finance, human resource development, and tourism.
The Swiss business delegation is composed of senior delegates from different Swiss companies in the fields of banking and finance, real estate, construction and so on.
