This TVET policy will respond to labour market’s requirements, especially contribute to the industrial sector development and decent job creation as well as ensure quality, high productivity and better competitiveness with other countries in the region.

The National TVET Policy 2017-2025 was reviewed and approved by the cabinet meeting in June for human resource development responsive to the current market’s development. It intends to promote governance within the government’s technical and vocational education and training system, engage key stakeholders, and mobilise available resources to succeed the work.

Through the policy, it is expected that more access to technical vocational education and training will be created with quality.
