AKP, September 25, 2017 –Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received Mr. Huang Yongda, Director General of China Huaneng Group – the constructor of Lower Sesan II hydropower dam – at the company’s office in Stung Treng province this morning.
According to Minister Attached to the Prime Minister H.E. Sry Thamrong, in the meeting, Mr. Huang Yongda expressed thanks to Samdech Techo Hun Sen who presided over the closing ceremony of sluice gate of Lower Sesan II hydropower dam.
He pledged to develop this project successfully for the benefit of Cambodia and do his best to settle all social impacts with the affected local people.
For his part, Samdech Techo Hun Sen congratulated the company on its efforts in completing the project early next year as planned.
