IM Capital Holding Commits to Fostering Private-Sector Links Between Cambodia and Poland

On the morning of 19 October 2026, at the Peace Palace, Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received a courtesy call from Ms Iwona Kmiecik, Founder and Chairwoman of IM Capital Holding, and her delegation.

During the meeting, the CEO expressed her gratitude to the Royal Government of Cambodia and the relevant ministries and institutions for their continued support for and encouragement of investment, which had enabled the company’s business operations and projects to progress smoothly and successfully. She added that peace and political stability in Cambodia, which are essential prerequisites for investment, had strengthened the confidence of foreigners and international investors. Furthermore, she underscored the company’s plans to expand its investments in Cambodia’s hospitality and real estate sectors, including plans to extend its investment activities to other major tourist destinations. In view of the growing interest among Polish companies in the Cambodian market, she respectfully sought the support of the relevant Cambodian ministries and institutions in organising a Poland–Cambodia Business Forum and establishing a Poland–Cambodia Chamber of Commerce to foster closer private-sector ties between the two countries.

In response, Samdech Thipadei commended the CEO’s efforts to date in strengthening people-to-people ties between the two countries through tourism promotion and business connectivity. He highlighted Cambodia’s considerable tourism potential, supported by favourable government policies and incentives, including the digitalisation of tourism and immigration services through the implementation of the e-Visa system and automated Smart Gates at Cambodia’s international airports. These initiatives help create favourable conditions for investment in the tourism sector. Samdech Thipadei also encouraged the company to explore the feasibility of developing diverse and comprehensive tour packages that would encourage tourists to venture beyond coastal and island destinations and discover Cambodia’s cultural and ecotourism attractions across the country, as the Royal Government continues to promote Cambodia’s rich tourism offerings to the world.

Before concluding the meeting, Samdech Thipadei welcomed the planned visit of a Polish business delegation to Cambodia. He encouraged IM Capital Holding to continue working closely with the relevant Cambodian ministries and institutions, particularly the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), the Ministry of Tourism, and the Cambodia Tourism Board (CTB), to hold detailed discussions and translate these plans and initiatives into concrete action, thereby laying the groundwork for the company’s long-term success.
