យោងតាមការបង្ហោះផ្សាយរបស់ក្រសួងការពារជាតិ នៅថ្ងៃទី៦ ខែសីហា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ បានឱ្យដឹងថា នៅវេលាម៉ោង ០៨:៣០នាទីព្រឹក ក្រុមអ្នកសម្របសម្រួល (CLG) នៃព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជា បានសម្របសម្រួលជូនក្រុមអ្នកសង្កេតការណ៍អាស៊ានប្រចាំព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជា (ASEAN Observer Team – Cambodia: AOT-KH) ដើម្បីចុះសង្កេតការណ៍ ផ្ទៀងផ្ទាត់ និងរាយការណ៍ នៅចំណុចភូមិស្រអែមខាងជើង ឃុំស្រអែម ស្រុកជាំក្សាន្ត ខេត្តព្រះវិហារ ដែលជាភូមិដ្ឋានរស់នៅរបស់ប្រជាជនស៊ីវិលស្លូតត្រង់។
សូមគូសបញ្ជាក់ផងដែរថា ទីតាំងខាងលើមិនមែនជាទីតាំងយោធានោះទេ គឺជាផ្ទះសម្បែងរបស់ប្រជាជនស៊ីវិលស្លូតត្រង់កំពុងរស់នៅ ដែលត្រូវបានរងការវាយប្រហារពីសំណាក់កងកម្លាំងយោធាថៃ កាលពីខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ២០២៥ ដោយការទម្លាក់គ្រាប់បែកពីយន្តហោះចម្បាំង F-16 និងការបាញ់គ្រាប់ផ្លោងប្រភេទ ១៥៥មីលីម៉ែត្រ ជាច្រើនគ្រាប់ បណ្តាលឱ្យលំនៅឋាន ទ្រព្យសម្បត្តិរបស់ប្រជាពលរដ្ឋ និងហេដ្ឋារចនាសម្ព័ន្ធស៊ីវិលជាច្រើនរងការបំផ្លិចបំផ្លាញ និងខូចខាតយ៉ាងដំណំ។
ជាមួយគ្នានេះ កម្ពុជាតែងតែផ្តល់ការគាំទ្រយ៉ាងពេញទំហឹងដល់ក្រុមអ្នកសង្កេតការណ៍អាស៊ាន (AOT) ព្រមទាំងសង្កត់ធ្ងន់ទៅលើសារៈសំខាន់មិនអាចខ្វះបានក្នុងការពង្រឹងតួនាទី និងអាណត្តិរបស់ AOT ដើម្បីផ្ទៀងផ្ទាត់ និងធានាការអនុវត្តបទឈប់បាញ់ឱ្យបានពេញលេញ និងប្រកបដោយប្រសិទ្ធភាព សំដៅលើកកម្ពស់តម្លាភាព គណនេយ្យភាព និងការជឿទុកចិត្តគ្នាទៅវិញទៅមក។

The Spokeswoman of the Ministry of National Defence of the Kingdom of Cambodia, would like to inform the general public as well as members of national and international media outlets as follows:
On Thursday, 06 August 2026, at 08:30 a.m., the Cambodian Liaison Group (CLG) of the Kingdom of Cambodia facilitated the participation of the ASEAN Observer Team, Cambodia (AOT-KH), to observe, verify, and report on the border situation in the areas of North Sra’aem Village, Sra’aem Commune, Choam Ksan District, Preah Vihear Province, which is a residential area inhabited by innocent civilians.
Please also note that the above location is not a military site, but rather the homes where innocent civilians live, which was attacked by the Thai military forces in December 2025 through bombings by F-16 fighter jets and the firing of multiple 155mm artillery shells, resulting in severe destruction and damage to people’s homes, personal property, and numerous civilian infrastructures.
At the same time, Cambodia has consistently provided its full support to the ASEAN Observer Team (AOT) and has emphasized the indispensable importance of strengthening the role and mandate of the AOT in order to verify and ensure the full and effective implementation of the ceasefire, to promote transparency, accountability, and mutual trust.
The Royal Government and the Ministry of National Defence of Cambodia reaffirm our firm, sincere, and unwavering commitment to fully and faithfully respect and implement the Joint Statement of the Third Special Meeting of the Cambodia–Thailand General Border Committee (GBC) on December 27, 2025, the Joint Declaration on the Peace Agreement between Cambodia and Thailand on October 26, 2025, and all other relevant agreements. This commitment is made with the aim of ensuring rapid recovery and restoring normalcy, and long-lasting peace and stability.
