Cambodian PM Holds a Get-Together with Cambodian Community in S. Korea

Phnom Penh, February 03, 2020 –Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, held in Seoul this afternoon a get-together with some 1,200 Cambodian people living, working and studying in the Republic of Korea (ROK), on the sidelines of the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) World Summit 2020.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen briefed them on the history and current diplomatic relations between Cambodia and ROK since 1996.

On the occasion, the Premier highlighted the progress of the relations and cooperation between the two countries in the bilateral and multilateral framework, particularly in the areas of trade, tourism, economy and investment as well as the ROK’s Official Development Assistance to Cambodia.

There are currently 450 Cambodian students, and approximately 65,500 Cambodian workers in ROK.
