Phnom Penh, July 29, 2019 –Morodok Techo National Stadium, a new stadium being built in Phnom Penh, reflects the stronger cooperation between Cambodia and China under the “One Belt, One Road” Initiative.
The remark was made by Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen during his inspection visit to the stadium’s construction site this morning.
Located on an area of more than 85 ha in Ly Yong Phat development area in Sangkat Prek Tasek, Khan Chroy Changvar, the construction of Morodok Techo National Stadium has been so far achieved 60 percent and is expected to complete in 2020.
Cambodia has decided to construct this nearly-US$160-million stadium for the sports sector enhancement and for the SEA Games 2023 to be hosted by Cambodia.
