Phnom Penh, July 03, 2019 –Cambodia Trade Integration Strategy (CTIS) 2019-2023 was launched in Geneva, Switzerland this afternoon (Phnom Penh time).
The official launch of CTIS was announced by Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, at the Aid-for-Trade Global Review 2019 held under the theme “Supporting Economic Diversification and Empowerment for Inclusive, Sustainable Development through Aid for Trade”.
According to Minister of Commerce H.E. Pan Sorasak, this strategy will tackle all major issues in the trade sector.
This new strategy focuses on strengthening the country’s competitiveness to support its transition into a developed economy and to benefit from new sources of growth, particular the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
