Cambodian, Vietnamese PM Hold Bilateral Meeting

Phnom Penh, April 26, 2019 –Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, this morning met and had breakfast with his Vietnamese counterpart H.E. Nguyen Xuan Phuc, on the sidelines of the 2nd Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in Beijing, China.

According to the Cambodian Premier’s official Facebook page, both leaders lauded the rapid development in each other’s country and expressed their satisfaction with their frank exchange of views on bilateral, regional and global issues for the common interest.

The two leaders have so far been committed to solve all remaining issues related to border demarcation and border marker planting, to increase the two-way trade to US$5 billion by 2020, to boost their connectivity in all domains and to prevent all infractions at the common border areas. By C. Nika
