Phnom Penh, April 24, 2019 -Philippine Airlines is planning to expand its direct flight routes to Siem Reap provincial city in the near future, after launching its direct flight to Phnom Penh capital early this month.
H.E. Kao Kim Hourn, Delegate Minister Attached to the Prime Minister, shared the information with journalists upon the farewell meeting here this morning between Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen and outgoing Ambassador of the Philippines H.E. Christopher Montero.
H.E. Ambassador noted the progress in Cambodia, especially Phnom Penh, during his four-year diplomatic mission in the Kingdom.
For his part, Samdech Techo Hun Sen spoke highly of the relations between both countries, and expressed his satisfaction with the launch of direct flight from Manila to Phnom Penh which connects the two nations’ people.
The Cambodian Premier also encouraged both sides to continue boosting their bilateral trade exchange and would like to see Cambodian rice be exported to the Philippine markets.
