Phnom Penh, April 23, 2019 –Some 2,280 new graduates of the National University of Management (NUM) have received their certificates from Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen.
The graduation ceremony was held at Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Centre in Phnom Penh this morning.
On the occasion, Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed his congratulations to the new graduates and thanked the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports as well as NUM for their efforts in training Cambodian human resources.
According to H.E. Dr. Hang Chuon Naron, Minister of Education, Youth and Sports, NUM, a leading state-owned university, has been playing a key and active role in the country’s human resource development. Since its foundation in 1983 to the 2017-2018 academic year, almost 50,000 students, of them 21,720 are women, have finished their studies at NUM.
The university is currently providing training for 11,152 students, including 6.092 female students, pointed out H.E. Minister. By C. Nika
