Over 1,600 New Graduates Receive Diplomas from PM

Phnom Penh, March 21, 2019 –More than 1,600 new graduates of Asia Euro University, of them 640 women, this morning received their diplomas from Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen.

The graduation ceremony was held at the National Institute of Education in Phnom Penh.

According to a report released at the event, of the 1,578 new graduates, 35 are Samdech Techo Scholarship students and four are foreigners (two Laotians and two Koreans).

Asia Euro University has been playing a key role in human resource development in the country. There are currently almost 12,000 students, of them 5,468 women and 22 foreign students (an American, 5 Koreans, 11 Laotians, 2 Chinese, 2 Taiwanese and a Nigerian), pursuing their studies at different levels at the university.
