Phnom Penh, March 20, 2019 –Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen this morning held a get-together with over 10,000 workers and employees from six factories and enterprises in Pursat province.
The meeting took place in Veal Vong village, Sna Ansa commune, Krakor district.
According to H.E. Ith Samheng, Minister of Labour and Vocational Training, of the six factories and enterprises, three are from Krakor district, one from Bakan district and another one from Pursat provincial city. They are invested by Chinese and Cambodian investors.
There are currently 107 factories and enterprises in Pursat province, employing 11,407 workers and employees with a total annual wage of US$39 million, he added.
Since Aug. 20, 2017, Samdech Techo Hun Sen has paid 66 visits to more than 940,000 workers and employees across the country.
