AKP Phnom Penh, November 29, 2018 – Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, departed here this morning for the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal for an official visit on Nov. 29-30 and for the “Asia-Pacific Summit 2018-Nepal” in Kathmandu on Nov. 30 to Dec. 02, at the invitation of his Nepalese counterpart H.E. Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli.
The Prime Minister was seen off at Phnom Penh International Airport by Samdech Kralahom Sar Kheng, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and many other high-ranking government officials.
According to a press release of the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, during the official visit, Samdech Techo Hun Sen will pay a courtesy call on H.E. Ms. Bidya Devi Bhandari, President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, and hold bilateral talks with H.E. Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli.
Thereafter, the two leaders will preside over the signing ceremony of a number of documents on bilateral cooperation.
At the Asia Pacific Summit 2018-Nepal, Samdech Techo Prime Minister will make a keynote address on the theme of the Asia Pacific 2018-Nepal “Addressing the Critical Challenges of Our Time: Interdependence, Mutual Prosperity and Universal Values”.
During his stay in Nepal, the Cambodian Premier will also take the opportunity to visit the Patan Durbar Square which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen was accompanied by H.E. Prak Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, other members of the Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia and delegation from Cambodia Chamber of Commerce.
