Cambodian Prime Minister and Vietnamese Counterpart Inaugurate a Cross Border Bridge

AKP, April 24, 2017 – The Chrey Thom-Long Binh, a cross border bridge connecting Chrey Thom (Kandal province, Cambodia) and Long Binh (An Giang province, Vietnam), was inaugurated this morning.

Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia and H.E. Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, presided over the event held at Chrey Thom village, Sampov Loun commune of Koh Thom district.

This 427.44-metre-long bridge along with a road connecting the National Road No. 21 in Cambodia to the National Road No. 956 in Vietnam was constructed at a total cost of more than US$36 million.
