AKP Phnom Penh, September 24, 2018 —Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received here this morning farewell visit from outgoing Chinese Ambassador H.E. Xiong Bo.
According to H.E. Eang Sophalleth, Assistant to the Cambodian Premier, the outgoing Chinese diplomat expressed his gratitude to Samdech Techo Prime Minister for his support to his diplomatic mission in Cambodia.
H.E. Xiong Bo recalled the success of his two-year term in the Kingdom, mainly in coordinating the high-level visit exchange between the two countries and in pushing for the implementation of “One Belt, One Road” policy and many cooperation projects.
For his part, Samdech Techo Hun Sen spoke highly of the relations and cooperation between Cambodia and China and thanked profoundly H.E. Ambassador and other diplomatic staff for their efforts in boosting the relationship between both nations.
The Cambodian Prime Minister also thanked the Chinese government and people for their support for the development of Cambodia.
