Cambodia Suggests Promoting Tourism Cooperation with Sri Lanka

AKP Phnom Penh, September 13, 2018 —Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, requested Sri Lanka to boost relations in the field of tourism and other potential sectors.

The Cambodian Premier made the request while holding a bilateral talk with Prime Minister of Sri Lanka H.E. Ranil Wickremesinghe in Hanoi, Vietnam this morning, on the sidelines of the 27th World Economic Forum (WEF) on ASEAN.

Both leaders also discussed the promotion of both countries’ relationship in the bilateral, multilateral, regional and international frameworks.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen recalled his visit to Sri Lanka in 1979 as a foreign minister, and accepted the invitation to pay another visit to the country in the near future.
