Samdech Techo Hun Sen Continue Visiting Factory Workers

AKP Phnom Penh, August 29, 2018 —As promised, Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen has continued to visit factory workers and employees almost every week.

This morning, the Premier is holding a get-together with some 14,800 workers and employees from six factories and enterprises in Khan Pursenchey, Phnom Penh.

According to H.E. Ith Samheng, Minister of Labour and Vocational Training, the six factories and enterprises produce clothes, bags and cardboard boxes for local supply and export.

Phnom Penh has currently 4,453 factories and enterprises, employing almost 773,000 workers and employees with a total annual wage of US$1.85 billion, he pointed out.

Since Aug. 20, 2017, Samdech Techo Hun Sen has paid 55 visits to more than 766,000 workers and employees in the capital and provinces.
