Cambodian, Thai PMs Hold Bilateral Talks in Siem Reap

AKP Siem Reap, April 05, 2018 –Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, met here this morning with visiting Prime Minister of Thailand H.E. Prayut Chan-o-cha, on the sidelines of the 3rd Mekong River Commission (MRC) Summit.

According to H.E. Eang Sophalleth, Assistant to the Cambodian Premier, during the bilateral meeting, H.E. Prayut Chan-o-cha extended best wishes to Samdech Techo on his birthday and on the Khmer New Year.

The Thai leader said the frequent meetings between him and Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen reflect the close relationship and cooperation between the two leaders as well as those of the two neighbouring countries.

H.E. Prayut Chan-o-cha expressed his commitment for the success of the 3rd MRC Summit for the common interests of all the Mekong nations.

In reply, Samdech Techo Hun Sen thanked and wished his Thai counterpart back on the Thai New Year. He called on all nations along the Mekong River to join their efforts for the success of their people.
