CLV Leaders Have Working Breakfast Together in Ha Noi

AKP Phnom Penh, March 31, 2018 –Cambodia’s Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen together with Prime Minister of Viet Nam H.E. Nguyen Xuan Phuc, and Prime Minister of Lao PDR H.E. Thongloun Sisoulith had a working breakfast together in Ha Noi, Viet Nam this morning, according to the National Television of Cambodia (TVK)’s special report.

This working breakfast took place on the sidelines of the 6th Greater Mekong Sub-region (6th GMS) Summit back-to-back with the 10th Cambodia-Laos-Viet Nam Summit on Development Triangle Area (10th CLV-DTA).

In the discussion, all leaders congratulated and highly evaluated the traditional friendship, solidarity, good neighbourliness and broader cooperation for the development, peace, stability, and prosperity of their respective nations.

The CLV leaders also noted the progress of the master plan for the socio-economic development of the CLV Triangle for 2010-2020, as well as other regional projects.

CLV is committed to develop 13 provinces in the triangle area of the three nations, Stung Treng, Ratanakiri, Mondukiri, and Kratie in Cambodia; Attapeu, Saravan, Se Kong and Champasak in Loa PDR; and Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Gia Lai, Kon Tum and Binh Phuoc in Viet Nam. This area covers 144.3 thousand square kilometres with a total population of some 6.5 million people, representing 19.3 percent and 6.1 percent of the total area and population of the whole three countries.
