AKP Siem Reap, April 04, 2018 –Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received this morning in Siem Reap city, Siem Reap province the new ASEAN Secretary-General H.E. Dato Lim Jock Hoi, on the sidelines of the 3rd Mekong River Commission (MRC) Summit.
According H.E. Eang Sophalleth, Assistant to the Cambodian Premier, in the courtesy meeting, H.E. Dato Lim Jock Hoi expressed his commitment to further strengthen the Secretariat of ASEAN’s mission.
The new ASEAN secretary-general briefed Samdech Techo Hun Sen on the new 16-floor building of the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta, Indonesia and the reduction of some meetings in order to save some budgets.
In reply, Samdech Techo Hun Sen thanked H.E. Dato Lim Jock Hoi for the report and requested him to speed up the work that the ASEAN leaders have already adopted and to give priority to the ASEAN integration.
