AKP Phnom Penh, March 16, 2018 –Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, arrived in Sydney, Australia early this morning for the ASEAN-Australia Special Summit.
According to his official Facebook page, the Cambodian Premier and his entourage were warmly welcomed at Sydney Airport by many Australian senior officials and members of Cambodian diplomatic corps and at the hotel by Cambodian communities in New Zealand and Australia.
This afternoon, Samdech Techo Hun Sen is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with H.E. Malcolm Turnbull, Prime Minister of Australia; and meet with Mr. Jeremy Johnson, President of the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In the evening, he will hold a get-together with some 800 Cambodian people living in Australia and New Zealand.
The ASEAN-Australia Special Summit to be held on Mar. 17-18, 2018 will provide an important opportunity for the ASEAN Leaders and Australian Prime Minister to have frank and candid discussions on various topics of common interest, and to share their thought and vision on the future direction of the ASEAN-Australia relations.
