AKP, December 04, 2017 –Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, will pay another official visit to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
At the joint press conference held at the Peace Palace, Phnom Penh this morning after his bilateral talks with visiting H.E. Ms. Sheikh Hasina, Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Samdech Techo Hun Sen said he accepted his Bangladeshi counterpart’s invitation to visit Bangladesh, but did not reveal the exact schedule.
This is the second official visit by H.E. Ms. Sheikh Hasina to Cambodia. She used to visit the Kingdom in January 2011, while Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen paid a visit to Bangladesh in June 2014.
H.E. Ms. Sheikh Hasina arrived here yesterday afternoon for a three-day official visit in Cambodia. This morning, following their bilateral meeting, Samdech Techo Hun Sen and H.E. Ms. Sheikh Hasina witnessed the signing ceremony of 11 documents including the Joint Communique on the Outcome of the Official Visit of H.E. Ms. Sheikh Hasina to Cambodia, Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Cooperation and Collaboration on Matters Related to Implementation of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (Agenda 2030), MoU concerning the Cooperation in the Field of Labour and Vocational Training, MoU on Cooperation in the Field of Tourism, MoU on the Modalities for Institutional Cooperation under the Joint Trade Council, MoU on Institutional Cooperation on Matters Related to Promotion of Investment, MoU on Cooperation in the Field of Information and Communication Technology, MoU on Cooperation in the Field of Aquaculture and Fisheries, MoU on Collaboration and Cooperation in the Preservation of their War History, War Monuments and War Relics, MoU on Academic Cooperation between Royal Academy of Cambodia and Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies, and Agreement of Cooperation between the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce and the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
