On the afternoon of 17 July 2026, Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received a courtesy call from Mr. Mitchell Mao, Chief Executive Officer of SF Holding Co., Ltd., and his delegation, on the occasion of his working visit to the People’s Republic of China and his participation in the 2026 World AI Conference, held from 15 to 17 July 2026.
During the meeting, the CEO informed Samdech Thipadei that SF Holding Co., Ltd. is a leading logistics service provider in China, whose core businesses include express and freight delivery, cold chain logistics, intra-city on-demand delivery, as well as supply chain and international logistics services. He further noted that the company currently operates across the Asia-Pacific region and intends to expand its investment in Southeast Asia. Based on its research on Cambodia’s logistics capacity, together with the steady growth in bilateral trade between Cambodia and China, SF Holding has expressed strong interest in exploring investment opportunities in Cambodia’s logistics sector.
In response, Samdech Thipadei highly commended SF Holding’s achievements and welcomed the company’s interest in exploring opportunities to expand its investment in Cambodia’s logistics sector. He also highlighted the Royal Government’s continued commitment to developing and strengthening infrastructure, with a particular focus on enhancing connectivity through road, air, and maritime transport networks with neighbouring countries and the wider region. Samdech Thipadei added that the Royal Government has been constructing additional expressways, modernising the railway system, and developing the Funan Techo Canal to enhance the transport and logistics sectors.
In conclusion, Samdech Thipadei encouraged SF Holding to maintain close engagement with the relevant Cambodian ministries and institutions to further explore and seize concrete investment opportunities in Cambodia.
