Phnom Penh, July 02, 2025 –H.E. Lawrence Wong, Prime Minister and Minister for Finance of the Republic Singapore, started his day-long official visit to Cambodia this morning, at the invitation of Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
H.E. Lawrence Wong and his spouse were warmly welcomed upon their arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport by H.E. Hem Vanndy, Minister of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation, as Minister-in-Attendance.
According to a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, during the visit, H.E. Lawrence Wong will be granted a Royal Audience by His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, at the Royal Palace, and is scheduled to pay a courtesy call on Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate of Cambodia.
H.E. Lawrence Wong will have a bilateral meeting with Samdech Thipadei Prime Minister at the Peace Palace, where they both will have in-depth discussion on further deepening the long-lasting relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between Cambodia and Singapore.
The visit coincides with the commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Cambodia-Singapore diplomatic relations.
