On the morning of February 20, 2025, Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received Ms. Rebecca Hunter, Director of Market Access of SpaceX – Starlink, for a courtesy meeting at the Peace Palace.
During the meeting, Ms. Hunter briefed Samdech Borvor Thipadei on the operations of SpaceX – Starlink’s services and highlighted that Cambodia is a top-priority destination for the company’s investment in 2025. Additionally, she informed Samdech Borvor Thipadei that her delegation would also have discussions with relevant ministries and institutions of the Royal Government of Cambodia during this visit.
In response, Samdech Borvor Thipadei welcomed SpaceX – Starlink’s interest in exploring investment opportunities and establishing ties with the Royal Government of Cambodia. He also highlighted the royal government’s policy to develop the technology sector to meet the rapid technological advancements.
