AKP, August 01, 2017 –Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, expressed here this morning his concerns over the current global chaos, including the U.S.-Russia diplomatic conflict.
While presiding over a graduation ceremony of the Royal University of Law and Economics, Samdech Techo Hun Sen said the current global situation is more complicated than that during the Cold War era.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen announced to deliver a keynote address on regional peace and harmonisation at the upcoming ASEAN-U.S. Summit, especially to U.S President H.E. Donald Trump.
The Cambodian premier said the current U.S.-Russia diplomatic conflict might provide a huge opportunity for terrorist groups, especially ISIS. He thus called on the two superpowers to return to dialogue and cooperation for the world harmonisation and peace.
The ASEAN-U.S. summit is expected to be held on the sidelines of the 31st ASEAN Summit in the Philippines in November this year.
