Phnom Penh, March 04, 2019 –Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received here yesterday afternoon visiting Singapore Commissioner of Police H.E. Gen. Hoong Wee Teck.
According to H.E. Eang Sophalleth, Assistant to the Cambodian Premier, in the meeting, H.E. Gen. Hoong Wee Teck briefed Samdech Techo Hun Sen on the outcome of his bilateral talks with Cambodian National Police Commissioner H.E. Gen. Neth Savoeun on various topics, especially the cooperation in the bilateral and multilateral frameworks.
H.E. Gen. Hoong Wee Teck spoke highly of the good relations and cooperation between both countries’ police institutions and shared his personal impression over the current situation in Cambodia, during this first visit in the Kingdom.
For his part, Samdech Techo Hun Sen encouraged the two countries to cooperate, both at the bilateral and multilateral levels, in exchanging information and experience and in combating terrorism and crimes.
Samdech Techo Prime Minister also asked the Singaporean side to help strengthen the capacity of Cambodian police officers and share experience on fake news management and prevention.
