Phnom Penh, December 28, 2018 –Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen of the Kingdom of Cambodia held talks at the Peace Palace, Phnom Penh this morning with H.E. Wang Wentian, newly appointed Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China.
H.E. Wang Wentian expressed his pride and delight to be appointed as Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia, at the time when the two countries are celebrating the 60th anniversary of the establishment of their diplomatic ties.
The new diplomat was committed to do his best to boost more relations and cooperation between both nations for the interests of the two peoples. Cambodia is an old, good, and “steel” friend of China, he stressed.
In his reply, Samdech Techo Hun Sen congratulated H.E. Wang Wentian on his appointment and shared the same idea as the ambassador over the relationship between Cambodia and China.
The Premier encouraged H.E. Wang Wentian to continue expanding the cooperation between the two countries in all domains and wished him success in his diplomatic mission in Cambodia.
