AKP, April 11, 2017 –His Majesty Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, and Her Majesty the Queen-Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk arrived home this afternoon from China where they underwent a routine medical checkup.
The Cambodian monarchs were greeted upon their arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport by President of the Senate Samdech Vibol Sena Pheakdei Say Chhum, National Assembly President Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei Heng Samrin, Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen and Samdech Kittiprittbandit Bun Rany Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian Red Cross, as well as many other high-ranking officials, and royal family members.
His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen-Mother left here for China on Mar. 3, 2017. While staying there, they have granted a royal audience to Chinese President H.E. Xi Jinping and his spouse in Beijing, during which both countries’ leaders cherished the traditional friendship, and agreed to maintain high-level contacts in various forms and to boost cooperation in key areas between the two countries.
