Phnom Penh, September 03, 2019 –Senior officials of the Governments of Cambodia and Malaysia signed here this morning two important documents to tighten cooperation between the two ASEAN nations.
The two documents include the Agreement on the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with Respect to Taxes on Income (DTA) and the Memorandum of Understanding on Tourism Cooperation.
The signing ceremony took place at the Peace Palace this morning, after the bilateral meeting between Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and visiting Prime Minister of Malaysia H.E. Dr. Mahathir Mohamad.
The official visit of H.E. Dr. Mahathir Mohamad to Cambodia will significantly contribute to further strengthening and deepening the excellent bonds of friendship and close cooperation between Cambodia and Malaysia in bilateral, regional and international frameworks.
