Phnom Penh, June 24, 2019 –Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen arrived at the site of the under-construction building collapse incident yesterday, around mid-night.
After his arrival in Phnom Penh on June 23 afternoon from the 34th ASEAN Summit in Bangkok, Thailand, Samdech Techo Hun Sen went to Preah Sihanouk province by car at night to inspect the rescue work at the incident site.
Hundreds of competent forces have been deployed to the incident site to rescue the victims. In total, 25 people have been reported dead as of this morning, and 24 others injured, while the search for survivors continues.
