AKP Phnom Penh, November 07, 2018 —Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen this morning met with more than 23,000 workers and employees from 20 factories and enterprises in Takeo province.
The get-together was held in Kraing Thnong commune, Bati district, Takeo province.
This is the Premier’s 2nd visit to factory workers and employees in Takeo. Since Aug. 20, 2017, Samdech Techo Hun Sen has met in total over 820,000 workers, employees, heads of administration, sections and groups.
According to Minister of Labour and Vocational Training H.E. Ith Samheng, there are 144 factories and enterprises in Takeo province, employing nearly 47,000 workers and employees.
The Royal Government of Cambodia has been paying attention to the improvement of workers’ welfare. Through the Prime Minister’s visit to workers and employees, many policies in their favour have been set forth and their challenges have been solved successively.
