On the evening of 15 July 2026, Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received a courtesy call from Mr Zheng Mingzhou, Director of Yuanda Group, on the occasion of his working visit to the People’s Republic of China and his participation in the 2026 World AI Conference, held from 15 to 17 July 2026.
During the meeting, the Director briefed Samdech Thipadei on the company’s business operations, noting that Yuanda Group has established long-term partnerships with government agencies, state-owned enterprises, and universities both in China and internationally. He highlighted that the company’s investments are currently focused on several key sectors, including education, agriculture, manufacturing, and digital technology. The Director also highlighted that, in light of Cambodia’s significant development potential, the company is keen to explore investment opportunities in the education, agriculture, and digital technology sectors.
In response, Samdech Thipadei welcomed the company’s interest in exploring investment opportunities in Cambodia’s high-potential sectors. He also emphasised that education, agriculture, and digital technology are among the Royal Government’s priority sectors, to which it has consistently attached great importance. He added that the Royal Government has introduced various policies and the necessary mechanisms to support their continued development and growth.
Samdech Thipadei encouraged the company to undertake a working visit to Cambodia and to maintain close engagement with the relevant Cambodian ministries and institutions in order to identify and seize concrete investment opportunities.
